For our Johns Manville Sales GmbH we are looking for the next possible date for a Product Manager (m/f/d) This is a full-time position in a non-tariff employment relationship. There is the possibility for you to work in the home office. The position provides leadership in product & market management for the Nonwovens business and more particularly for selected Building market spaces. It is a key leadership position with focus on profitable growth, development of product and market strategies as well as executing the assigned plans and strategy goals. You will also be responsible for detailed SKU-level analysis for the Nonwovens business, will monitor our competitors' activities to develop new products and adapt business strategies, and will identify customer needs and align product development requirements with the Innovation and Commercialization (I&C) teams. Responsibilities Develop and provide input to strategic planning in Building segments Project management to drive solutions for the Nonwovens business in Europe Collect and share product and market intelligence as well as macro trends and translate them into actions as appropriate Conducting competitor analysis (strategy, capacity, investments, market and product focus) Define product vision for Building product lines or adjacent new market areas using technology and market trends and analysis of competitor strategies Drive joint developments with customers and identify new potential business opportunities Define CTQ criteria for new product developments in coordination with the I&C team Achieve product sales targets in collaboration with Technology and Commercial team. Develop value propositions in specific market segments to accelerate the development of new commercial offers in collaboration with the commercial team Represent the Nonwovens business through participation and branding at relevant industry association and customer trade shows and events Education and work experience Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in technical/commercial roles, preferably in product or project management Thorough technical knowledge of product features, manufacturing processes, product technology, etc. Fluency in English; knowledge of another European language preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Experience in project management Strong ability to perform analysis with large data sets and strategic thinking skills Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally Will to win and team spirit Role model in change management Self-initiative and self-motivation Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Strong presentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects Proven leadership skills Moderate travel required (20-40%) People Passion Perform Protect What we offer We offer a diverse workplace in an international company, a positive work atmosphere in a collegial environment, and an attractive compensation package. 30 days of vacation per year and our flexible working hours model allow you to balance your career and family.
