We are looking for a Product Specialist (m/f/x) to support the paper and board machine Central Europe sales team for our location in Darmstadt (Germany) or Jelenia Góra (Poland). Currently, we are seeking an enthusiastic, solution-oriented person capable of independent work for the position as a Product Specialist. In this position, you will prepare offers and support sales in the sales projects of overhauling and repairing components and equipment. The main responsibilities of the position are related to the preparation of customer offers to support the sales teams in EMEA (especially in Central Europe) and globally. You will work as part of the application team, and an important part of the work is cooperation, e.g., with sales managers as well as specialists, engineering and project managers. The position is assigned to the EMEA paper and board machines sales team. Duties and areas of responsibility: Quotation descriptions, which includes solution development together with sales managers and technical support Cost evaluation and preparation of sales project pricing Preparation of quotations, including specifications as well as sales letter and finalizing of offers Communication, meetings and negotiations with internal stakeholders and customers Technical support and collaboration with other sales organizations and global operations What we expect from you: Success in the position requires experience in a similar position or maintenance experience. It is important to have knowhow of the paper and board machine technology (especially components and equipment). Experience in mechanical engineering and the ability to read and understand drawings is an advantage. In addition to good technology expertise, we expect excellent cooperation, communication and teamworking skills from you. Self-initiative and solution-orientation are also of primary importance in this position. A bachelor's or master's degree in maintenance / engineering or other suitable technical education Several years of experience in the paper & board machine technology or maintenance Basic knowledge of the paper & board machine components and equipment, preferably in the area of the headbox and the forming section Ability to produce technical source data and documentation Good teamwork and networking skills Fluent oral and written German skills, fluent English skills are also required Availability to travel about 30 days a year What can you expect from us?
