Join our Quality Assurance department based in Trier as Quality Assurance Laboratory System & Process Manager (m/f/d) Job ID: 85936 / Location: Trier / Start: as soon as possible The Quality Assurance Laboratory in Trier is JTI’s central and accredited lab. Its role is to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of material and product testing results. You will be responsible for the QIMS system configuration and setup. QIMS is the key application within QA, R&D and GSC to manage material, product and process control quality data and prototype production. You will coordinate between all R&D QIMS users and JTI IT functions (Business Technology Services (BTS), Global Service Desk (GSD)) to ensure maintenance of all current and development of all future business processes. Your Responsibilities: Responsible for QIMS system security, configuration, set up maintenance and continuous improvement to ensure an efficient and reliable operation according to current and future business processes Gathering of R&D QIMS business requirements, validation of functional requirements, configuration, testing and final implementation in production environment Implement new R&D business processes in R&D QIMS, either using the full toolset for administration or by addressing formal change requests to the BTS Quality team and contributing actively to all phases until the implementation is successful Implement online data collection for laboratory instruments, either by configuration in collaboration with local IT or by addressing routine change requests to the BTS Quality team/development Perform 1st level support for the R&D QIMS user community and supervise data correction actions in R&D QIMS regarding product, specification or at lab order level With support from GSD, BTS Quality and local IT ensure best suitable solutions for any possible system issue Deliver new ART (Advanced Reporting Tool) reports upon request of R&D QIMS power users and R&D Management Lead coordination of proper implementation of R&D QIMS applications to other QA locations Ensure consistent system configuration among all R&D locations within JTI Your Profile: University degree, e.g. in Computer Science or in another technical/scientific field Minimum 5 years' experience in similar roles, including development and/or administration of complex SQL database applications in an R&D environment Good knowledge in SAP business processes designed for specification management Business knowledge of cigarette production processes as well as R&D and QA processes is an advantage Experience with project management Sound analytical capabilities, proactiveness, sense of responsibility Open-mindedness, very good communication skills and presentation skills Ability to work effectively in a diversified team and in an international environment Fluent in English, written and spoken Benefits: Good work-life balance (30 days annual leave, working hours: 37,5 hours per week) Attractive remuneration as well as 13th and 14th salary Various development opportunities, complemented by diverse training opportunities Open and international working environment with more than 60 nationalities at Trier site Health management Company pension plan Capital-forming benefits Canteen and free parking Have we aroused your interest?
