Our client, a leading SportsBetting brand in Europe is looking for Country Manager Germany (fluency in German, Turkish and English) for their sports betting business. Your responsibility will be to develop business opportunities in accordance with Betting Legislation through Agents and to maximise profitability of these relationships
Main Responsibilities
- Recruitment of Agents in targeted areas
- Building and maintaining relationships with Intermediaries managing shops by offering support and advice to ensure profitability for both parties
- Maintain effective communications with Intermediaries through regular shop visits, telephone and email
- Represent the Company when dealing with National and Local Regulatory Authorities and Building Controls
- Manage all operational activity, including Marketing, Merchandising, Standards, Expenses and Profitability
- Provide budget information to the Accounts Department for the annual preparation and analysis of business performance
- Identify “problem” areas quickly and implement appropriate remedial action to ensure targets are achieved, ie: Turnover, Gross Profits and Expenditure
- Report to the Operations Director on a monthly basis detailing the performance of the business
- Develop a working relationship with the support functions based in Liverpool, Bucharest and Malta
- Ensure the Management Team in Germany are working effectively in line with business needs
Capital Expenditure
- Submit annual Capital Expenditure proposals for inclusion in Operations Budget – once approved, organise such projects
- Submit proposals for Capital Equipment budgets necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the business and thereafter order such equipment within budget
Business Reviews
- Undertake periodic reviews to assess each outlets performance during the accounting period and identify specific problems in shops and take remedial action
- Prepare quarterly business reviews for discussion with Operations Director
Marketing
- Ensuring that there is in place effective monitoring procedures to quickly identify extraordinary activity by sector competitors, government and legislation and to react accordingly to maximise profitability
- Ensure that the Agents implement shop “Standards” of the highest level
- Ensure that the Agents promote the highest levels of Customer Service
- Ensure that competitor activity is closely monitored and react if necessary to any changes in market conditions
Customers
- Continually review customers regarding business levels, business mix and profitability
Must have
- Experience in the iGaming industry and understand the German market
- Native level of German plus fluency in English and Turkish
