As Lead Accountant (m/f/d) you will support us with installing business intelligence accounting and finance processes and you will ensure a securely running organisation in terms of finances and budget for our company. You will lead and guide a small Accounting team of Accounting Specialists and Finance Assistants. You will oversee and report on all accounting activities for our company and associated subsidiaries to the Head of Finance and the CEOs.

- You and your team will be responsible for SAP Business Bydesign implementation mirroring legal entity structures of inveox
- Your responsibility is current accounting as well as the processes of checking, tracking and maintaining necessary documents – month end closing as well as year end closing
- You will also be responsible for the preparation of actual analyses/reports for the management based on month end closing cycle
- The clarification and reconciliation of accounts is your responsibility as well as master data maintenance
- With your team, you will lead accounting (both external and/or internal) and you will coordinate accounting topics
- You will also supervise day-to-day bookkeeping activities
- You are responsible for the consolidation of all accounts, overseeing our national accounting partners
- Alongside with our Head of Finance, you cooperate with financial auditors and ensure overall financial compliance
REQUIREMENTS
- You have a degree in Accounting, completed commercial training e.g. as Financial Accountant (m/f/d), further training as Accountant (m/f/d) or a successfully completed study in Finance, Business Administration or comparable
- You have gained several years of relevant professional experience in the field of financial accounting
- You are an expert in the knowledge of HGB and IFRS and preferable US GAAP
- Have a proven track record in building, training and supervising a team of accountants and financial experts
- For you, team work, team building and effective communication is very important
- Working with MS Office and an ERP software (e. g. SAP) is part of your daily job
- You are thriving to a continuous professional and personal development
- A sense of responsibility, discretion and an independent way of working is nothing new to you
- You have an organizational talent, you are highly motivated and you have attention to detail
- Very good knowledge of German and English language skills are required
- You are familiar with the OKR or agile methodology
