YOUR TASKS
As our Product Manager you will develop product requirements and specifications, taking into account the various customer input, and prioritize the resulting developments projects together with our Product Owners. Evaluate customer-specific project requests with regards to profitability, technical possibilities, regulatory requirements, and production and sales opportunities.
Ensure that our products supports inveox’ overall strategy and goal and join us in our vision of making cancer misdiagnosis a thing of the past – sample by sample.
This will include:
• You shape the product vision and strategy of our medical IT products, in close alignment with the Head of Product, based on a deep understanding of inveox business, and the role the product plays in it
• You support the development of the software throughout the entire product life cycle (requirements - design - verification - product maintenance) and contribute to strengthening our product and IP portfolio
• You establish a data driven product development approach, in order to evaluate opportunities and monitor success
• You guide, lead and counsel a team of experienced product owners, UI/UX designers directly reporting to the Head of Product and the Managing Partners
• You own the overall product roadmap for our software products, coordinating with our hardware teams’ potential integrations between the product lines
• You drive continuous improvement of our processes, best practices, and tools
• You will help define and develop a rigorous growth culture, using hypotheses, quantitative and qualitative measures that tie to company objectives and focus on learning and impact
REQUIREMENTS
• At least 5 years of professional experience in project or product management - ideally in the IT software industry for medical products
• Technical background (information technology / business information technology) and a keen interest in business management issues or as a business economist / business management expert / economist with a very high level of technical affinity
• Hands-on experience in bringing products certified under IVDR/MDR onto the market as well as software development according to the international standard for medical device software (IEC 62304)
• Profound knowledge in the field of cancer diagnostics and a high understanding of customer needs
• Familiarity with agile project and customer-centric creative methods and a proven track record in this area
• Hands-on experience with medical standards (HL7/FHIR/xDT)
• Successfully demonstrated your skills by participating in several developments of complex software solutions in a leading role – ideally, but not necessary, in a highly regulated environment such as the medical or in-vitro diagnostics industry
• You have already acquired disciplinary leadership experience and proven that you can empathically lead and develop a team
• Fluent German (min. C1) and English
